On Freedom and Liberty

  • "Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes."

  • "Live as if your were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."

  • "To forgive is not to forget. The merit lies in loving in spite of the vivid knowledge that the one that must be loved is not a friend. There is no merit in loving an enemy when you forget him for a friend."
Mahatma Gandhi

  1. One of Gandhi's lesser known quotes is very apt for the city of Glasgow and its hordes of raving Nationalists, and has always stayed with me regardless of my lack of any form of religion.

"Religion is no test of nationality, but a personal matter between man and his God"
